Hi! My name is Brenna and I can’t wait to help with your tutoring needs!

I specialize in preschool, elementary, and middle school subjects, working with people with learning disabilities, and career readiness! I have a Bachelors degree in Child and Family Development and a Masters of Education in Higher Education Leadership.

Q

Haily's Bio

My name is Haily Clark and I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2022 with a BA in psychology and a Minor in Art. I am currently working to complete my Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Liberty University. I have worked as a Behavioral Technician at the Appleseed Behavioral Center and as a substitute teacher at The Walker School. I’m currently working as a third grade teacher at Kennesaw First Baptist school. I understand the importance of reading as I also struggled as an elementary student. I was diagnosed with dyslexia and have learned several techniques to help your child succeed through my own experiences. Additionally I have completed Orton Gillingham certification for dyslexia.

Jill's Bio

I was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area. I have two amazing sons. Ray is 22 years old and working in sales. Andre is 13 years. He attends North Cobb Christian School and plays football. We love Jesus and sports!

I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1995. I worked in “Corporate America” for seven years and then decided that I wanted to completely change careers. I enrolled at Mercer University (Atlanta campus) and graduated with my Masters of Early Childhood Education in 2007.

I am in my 23rd year of teaching. I have been a classroom teacher, Early Intervention Program teacher, and small group reading teacher during the course of my teaching career. I am currently working toward my Associates Certification through the Orton Gillingham Academy.

Educating parents about learning differences and teaching children to read is my passion. I believe that God equips us all with different gifts and talents. Helping children find their strengths and equipping them with strategies for weaknesses is my wheelhouse. We are all created on purpose, for a purpose no matter our age.

Q

Regan's Bio

Hi Friends! My name is Regan O’Rear.

I graduated from the University of Georgia in the Spring of 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Religious Studies, and am now in the process of pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing! I’ve spent a majority of my college experience splitting time between hard science classes (Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Anatomy, etc.) and abstract writing courses (Sociology, Psychology, Literature, History, etc.) so I can offer your student the best of both worlds!

Prior to this, I was a Top 10 Student at Harrison High School and graduated with a 4.41 GPA and received a 34 on my ACT. I know how difficult (and stressful) it is to prepare to apply to college. My ultimate goal is to be able to help your student feel confident in school AND by the time their applications are sent out!

Q

Amanda's Bio

My name is Amanda Korb. I have a B.S.Ed. in Special Education-Intellectual Disabilities, and an
M.Ed. in Inclusive Education. I worked as a special education teacher in both the public and
private schools for 13 years. I am currently working as an elementary school special education
paraprofessional.
I have experience teaching children with autism, ADHD, processing difficulties, learning
disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. I have knowledge of the Georgia Standards and I am
familiar with teaching the new elementary school Common Core math strategies used by the
public schools. I particularly enjoy using children’s interests to motivate them in achieving their
learning goals.
I love to encourage students because I know how hard it is for students to work on challenging
tasks. I also love to let students know that they have unique God given strengths and talents,
and that God can use their weaknesses, too!
I enjoy being outside during cool or cold weather, love sports, and serving on the tech team at
church!
I look forward to helping your children!

Q

Frances' Bio

Hello! I’m Frances, and I enjoy nurturing young people on their learning journeys. When I was growing up, I helped my siblings with their schoolwork. More recently, I tutored one girl through 2nd and 3rd grade, and also helped a family homeschool three of their children for about half a year and taught them piano lessons. I just earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Writing, Rhetoric, and Technology from CU Denver, and now I specialize in tutoring elementary reading, writing, grammar, phonics, spelling, essay and book report writing, and creative writing. I can also help with other subjects, such as cursive writing, history, science, and math. I look forward to helping your child thrive in their studies!
